Email send to the families, on October 23, 2020.
I hope all is well with you and your family. I have finished the schedule for the upcoming week. You will find a few attachments. Attached is a schedule for your child to follow during virtual instruction. The other attachment is for any login information and passwords needed for virtual instruction.
I have made this virtual instruction as easy as possible, but I need your assistance for opening websites for your child, if necessary. As stated in the video noted above, your child has learned this in the classroom. They have learned how to use my website, in an event such as now.
I'll remind your child to log off the Zoom meeting for their related service. They may need assistance logging back onto the Zoom for my instruction. For asynchronous instruction, they will use the website and go through each area, completing the day's work. At 1:30, they will need assistance from you to log onto the specialty areas (art, gym, and music).
Please, let me know if you run into any problems.
I appreciate your assistance.
Mr. Brian will be sending a schedule, by tomorrow, with information for the upcoming 2 weeks. Mr. Brian is encouraging all students to participate via Zoom. There will be frequent breaks for your child to have during the daily instruction.
Please email Mr. Brian if you are experiencing any tech issues, so that he can inform Sunrise School.
Another awesome day in room 23. We worked hard! We talked about endangered animals during our Social Studies lesson, with News2You. During math, we worked on either IXL or counting. For reading, we worked on our writing paragraphs and using supporting details or answering comprehension questions. Our special for the day was gym. To end the day, we hiked a bit near our clubhouse.
Great day today! We worked very hard with our ELA Morning Meeting. Social Studies, we learned about the voting process, ELA/Reading Group 1 read "The Fox and the Kit". ELA/Reading Group 2 completed their IXL work. Everyone did a great job! Math, we used the Promethean Board and everyone participated, either by counting, multiplying, or estimating. Great job!!! Afterwards, we went to our clubhouse and socialized with our friends.
